SRD Shorts: Time Bridge

Bridges are magical. They stand as a testament to humanity's willingness to say “screw you, nature. I’m walking here.” whether nature decided to put a river or a gorge or just some air in the place where we’ve decided to travel. Look at the Skyway. If that’s not a monument to hubris then I don’t know what is. Heck, in some places they make them in different shapes like the letters “s” and “y” or they put covers on them. We sure do love bridges. So you’re sure to love this short piece about a very special bridge.

Even the third time you open the fridge, that mustard and butternut squash are unlikely to have assembled themselves into something delicious, crunchy and immediately ready to jam into your face.
